PHL 310 - Bioethics Bioethics will provide students an opportunity to explore the ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) related to the broad field of biotechnology. This course will include an overview of ethical theories and principles relevant to these often controversial issues and, more specifically, will examine areas related to healthcare, genetic engineering and the environment. Satisfies Values and Ethical Reasoning General Education and Writing Designated core requirements.
Prerequisites & Notes BIO 101 or BIO 102 or PHL 104, or permission of dean and instructor.
