ENG 337 - American Indian Experience: An Introduction to the Literature American Indian experience recorded in fiction, autobiography, poetry, and essay in the 20th century and beyond emphasizes specific tribal traditions, values, and practices. The impact of United States government policies on native people, families, and tribes is recorded in the literature. Historical, geographical, political, and economic contexts are considered in this study of works produced by American Indians. Satisfies the Arts and Humanities and Writing Designated core requirements.
