ART 285 - Art and World Culture Compares and contrasts the values that give rise to varied artistic practices. Examines the different concepts of what constitutes art in different cultures. Explores specific social, Political, and religious conditions that provide understanding of works of art at a particular moment in history. Treats both Western and non-Western art. Satisfies the Arts and Humanities core requirement.
