Program Requirements

Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits as follows:

• ART 105 - Drawing and Composition I (Cr: 3)
• ART 110 - Cultural and Historic Perspectives in Creative Arts Therapy (Cr: 3)
• ART 201 - Painting I (Cr: 3)
• ART 209 - Creative Arts Therapy Studio I (Cr: 3)
• PSY 100 - General Psychology (Cr: 3)
• PSY 310 - Abnormal Psychology (Cr: 3)

Alternative Courses

Students who have completed one or more of the required courses, must select alternative courses from the list below:

• ART 210 - Integrating Theory and Practice in Creative Arts Therapy (Cr: 3)
• ART 225 - Jung and Creative Arts Therapy (Cr: 3)
• ART 309 - Creative Arts Therapy Studio II (Cr: 3)
