Program Requirements

Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits as follows:

Internship / Study Abroad Experience

This requirement can be met through a two-credit January internship experience (in which case students are encouraged to talk with the Humanities Chair regarding total credits earned for the International Studies minor), three-credit January study tour, or through a semester abroad. Students choosing to study abroad may meet some of the International Studies elective course requirements in their study abroad program. Students pursuing a International Studies minor should work closely with their advisors, the Chair of the program, and the School of International Education to meet the minor’s requirements.
