OM 563 - Research Strategies

Effective and authentic leaders possess strong interpersonal skills in developing and promoting the core values and mission statement of a school that guides all stakeholder decision-making and team work. Candidates explore and analyze the large repertoire of qualities and skills and some of the best practices that make a leader successful in their schools: developing an entry plan, articulating one’s own core values and personal vision, decision-making, effective time management strategies, delivering difficult information, conflict resolution, the art of persuasion, crisis management, and cultural competency. Candidates will also reflect and analyze their personal leadership strengths and weaknesses.
