OM 512 - Marketing and Branding Organizations3 cr. This course will examine the concepts and principles of all areas of marketing including the marketing mix, product development, promotion and advertising, distribution, consumer behavior and market segmentation. These concepts will provide an understanding of how the marketplace has evolved in response to changes in consumer tastes and expectations, technological developments, competitors’ actions, economic trends and political and legal events as well as product innovation and pressures from supplies and distributors.
