POL 250 - Political Theory Drawing on the most important classical and contemporary political philosophers, this course surveys the central themes of political thought: power and legitimacy; authority and dissent; libertyand quality; sovereignty and responsibility; justice and right; individual, national, and minority identity. This course also examines the relevance and application of these ideas to contemporary issues. Satisfies the Social Science core requirement.
