CJ 310 - Justice Processes This multidisciplinary course explores issues and problems related to the activities of criminal justice agency officials. The influence of political, philosophical, interpersonal and organizational considerations on case handling is emphasized. Using a directed reading and analysis approach, students are introduced to leading theoretical perspectives on criminal justice agency operations and to exemplary empirical investigations of factors influencing the decisions of police, prosecutors, judges, defense attorneys and other criminal justice system officials.
