CJ 100 - Introduction to Criminal Justice This course provides an overview of the components of the criminal justice system including the police, courts and corrections. In addition the course provides an understanding of what crime is, why crime occurs, how much crime there is, the juvenile justice system and victims of crimes’ rights in the criminal justice system. This course provides the foundation for all subsequent criminal justice and law courses. Satisfies the Social Science core requirement.
