ITP 522 - Multimedia Applications in Education

This course focuses on the creation, management and integration of multimedia files and applications into the curriculum. Students will learn the basics of creating digital image, audio and video files such as GIF, JPEG, WAV, AVI. They will also learn the basics of multimedia file management, how to create multimedia files for use with presentation software such as PowerPoint and the web, and image capture through the use of digital cameras and scanners. The activities, materials and content of this course are related to the current Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for PreK-12 Instructional Technology Standards.
