HTA 315 - The History and Appreciation of Wine
This course is intended to give the student a breadth of knowledge regarding wine. With roots dating back to eight thousand years, wine is woven into modern day traditions and cultures. The student will learn the history of wine and its reciprocal influences with agriculture, language, art, chemistry, economics, geography, health, and culture. Wine tasting is a component of this course; consequently, students must be 21 years of age.

Prerequisites: Age 21, third or fourth-year status, and permission of the instructor. Course Fee: $50.00
