Most offices of Student Affairs are located in the Callahan Center. The role of Student Affairs is to support the academic and personal development of each student.

A staff of professionals allows students one-on-one contact with administration to discuss any issue. Areas of special interest are often incorporated into campus-wide programming.

Student Affairs is an umbrella term to describe several offices that work closely with students and groups in the areas of residence life, student activities, counseling, community service, health, food service, spiritual life, and safety and security on campus.

Student Life

^ TOP

Endicott students come from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds, creating a diverse experience for all students. Students from across the United States and dozens of foreign countries are currently represented on campus. A celebration of these backgrounds allows students to truly experience a variety of cultures and traditions enriching their own personal experiences.

New Student Orientation

^ TOP

Endicott College provides two opportunities to assist newly admitted students and their families in their transition to higher education academics, campus life, and the Endicott community.  The Endicott experience begins with Summer Orientation where new students and their families participate in an intensive, overnight orientation program. The summer orientation is designed to assist students in building relationships critical to success at Endicott College. Workshops and interactive sessions engage students and their families in academic and co-curricular activities, thus introducing new students to the academic and community expectations and standards of the College. Students are introduced to a common reading designed to unite them in a shared intellectual discourse. Finally, orientation allows the College an opportunity to answer student and family questions and concerns before the academic year starts in order to ease the transition to Endicott.

Prior to the start of classes, Fall Orientation assists with the academic transition for life on campus. At Fall Orientation, students are prepared for the transition into academics at Endicott by meeting the faculty and staff of their respective Schools to enhance the students understanding of their programs. Students will also receive their class schedule during a session with their academic advisor where they may review their schedule and address any questions or concerns. Students will begin their EC101 - Endicott Transitions course, which addresses the challenges of incoming students and provides strategies for success in an academic community. Finally, the new class will participate in a traditional Convocation ceremony.

Student Activities
