The program in Information Technology is a 36 credit sequence of courses designed for computer professionals who need to learn the advanced aspects of this technology. Rather than intending to create specialists in a specific area, the program prepares students to handle the issues related to information technology.

The program offers courses in key technical topics, current status and the future directions of systems technology, as well as the social aspects of technology. The program is based on the belief that learning leads to change and that technologists must be able to maintain the ability to learn continuously to be successful in the information technology profession.
