BUA 582 - Business Research Methods(Cr: 3) A basic course for general managers and executives in understanding and applying research and data analysis for problem solving in organizations. Students will study research design strategies, sources and collection of data, and the analysis and presentation of data as applied to problem solving, decision making, and strategic planning in organizations. The course will explore traditional research techniques and use the internet to conduct data collection and research projects. As an end product, each student group will develop and present a research proposal that they will then work on throughout their MBA curriculum.
