CJ 341 - Domestic Violence This course covers the history of domestic violence as a social problem, its dynamics, prevalence, outcomes, research issues, and contemporary domestic violence policy. The course focuses on domestic violence in the United States. The goal of this course is to provide students with a broad understanding of domestic violence, its effects on today’s society and the resources available to address it. The course also cultivate the knowledge and skills that will allow students to critically evaluate representations of domestic violence in a variety of contexts.
