IDI 517 - History of Architectural and Interior Design

A history of Western European and American archi- tecture, interior design, furniture, and decorative arts from the late 18th century, including appropriate references in ancient, medieval, Renaissance and oriental forms and styles to contemporary 21st century. Domestic architecture and interiors and their furni- ture will be emphasized. Periods covered from American Neo-Classical through the 21st century (1790â€”present).
