ED 203 - Introduction to Children with Special Needs

This course introduces the historical, legal and social aspect of special needs education in the United States. Identification of special needs- including physical, social, emotional, and sensory- as well as giftedness will be discussed. Integration of special needs children into the regular classroom is a major component.

ED 101 or permission of the instructor
