ID 200 - Building Systems and Integrated Design Students begin to explore the technical and aesthetic aspects of structure, environmental systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC system types, natural ventilation, energy efficiency, zero energy building, and renewable energy systems, lighting (natural and artificial), and acoustics and their impact on the built and natural environments. The appropriate selection of technologies based on codes, universal design, sustainability, function and aesthetics, and human comfort are explored and evaluated for interior spaces.
Prerequisites & Notes ID 102, ID 103, or permission of instructor.
