All transfer applicants will be notified of the number of credit hours accepted.
Housing for International Students
All new students will receive information regarding Housing Preference Forms in June for students entering in the Fall and in December for students entering in the Spring. Students should complete the form online and return it to the Office of Residence Life with their desired housing choices. Students will then be notified of their housing assignment prior to their arrival on campus.
Orientation for International Students
Each semester prior to the start of classes, Endicott College conducts a comprehensive orientation for all new students. Orientation includes workshops and seminars designed to prepare students for academic and social life at Endicott College. The orientation program also includes cultural adjustment workshops and a comprehensive immigration seminar specifically for international students. All incoming international students are expected to participate in New Student Orientation.
The International Student Services Advisor is available on an ongoing basis to assist international students after New Student Orientation and throughout their stay at Endicott College.
Scholarships for International Students
International students may be considered for a number of institutional scholarships. The Financial Aid Committee makes selection for these awards. Students may also be considered for Endicott Presidential Academic, Presidential Art, and Endicott Health Sciences Scholarships. The Admission Office notifies eligible recipients of these awards shortly after the offer of acceptance to the College. International students however, are not eligible for any federal, state, or need-based Endicott grants.
Legal Obligations of International Students
After Endicott College offers admission to an international student, the student must obtain a visa from the United States consular office and must be admitted to the United States by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). For the duration of your study in the United States, you are expected to meet certain legal obligations of USCIS as discussed in the International Student Handbook, which you will receive upon your arrival on campus, and will be discussed during orientation. Maintenance of legal “student status” is the obligation of the international student. An Endicott international student who has failed to meet statutory obligations as an F-1 student will be required to apply for reinstatement by USCIS. If the student’s failure to maintain status is willful, avoidable, or part of a pattern of deception, the student is subject to immediate dismissal, in accordance with College policy.

If you decide to change your program of study after admission is offered, you must request a change in writing to the Office of Admission. This is necessary due to the number of positions available within each School of the College.

Although a tour of our campus is not required, we encourage you to phone the Office of Admission to schedule a tour and personally meet with a member of our Admission staff. Your visit allows us to become more acquainted with you and your family while you obtain a closer look at Endicott.
We are open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and select Saturdays during the academic year. Please call the Office of Admission to schedule a visit at (978) 921-1000.

Students may apply for the Spring semester at Endicott following the same application procedures as required for the Fall semester. The application deadline for Spring is December 15. Due to the sequential nature of some programs, however, those students entering Endicott in the Spring may have to delay taking certain required courses in their major until the Fall. Due to the sequential nature of the curriculum in the School of Nursing, we are unable to consider applications for Spring semester admission.
The College participates in the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board. Course exemption and/or credit will be awarded to students presenting scores of 3 or higher on AP examinations except for Math and Science exams which require a minimum score of 4. Detailed information is available on our website at www.endicott.edu/registrar. Students should request that their scores be sent to the Office of Admission directly from the College Board (Code 3369). Once the scores have been evaluated, students will be notified of any advanced standing awarded.
College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
|

Students may take advantage of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and receive credit for certain courses. CLEP examinations cover material taught in courses that most students take as requirements in the first two years of college. Endicott will award the same amount of credit to students earning satisfactory scores on the CLEP examination as it awards to students successfully completing that course.
Social Networking Statement
|
^ TOP |
As a practice, the College in general and in particular the Office of Admission does not monitor Facebook or equivalent social networking sites for content regarding prospective students. However, when posting information on the internet, please keep in mind that you are responsible for your statements and any consequences that may arise. If subjects of inappropriate nature are brought to our attention, it may lead up to and include rescinding an offer of admission to the College. Please think about how you represent yourself, not only to the higher education community, but to your friends, family, future employers, and the community at large.
Endicott College is dedicated to the principle of lifelong learning. It is never too late to learn, whether a student chooses to enter a profession, advance in a career, or enrich personal life. Adult students are welcome in both the day and evening divisions of Endicott as full-time or part-time students in all programs. An adult student is defined as a student age 23 or older. Students attending on a part-time basis are charged per credit hour.
