HTM 320 - The Cultural History of Food Survey concentrated on food and its historical impact on civilizations from prehistoric to present. An overview of the development of agricultural practices and their relationship to global and regional cuisine. Food as a cultural identifier, its role in commerce and the advent of the restaurant are examined. Satisfies the World Culture General Education requirement.
