Events Management Minor

The School of Hospitality and Tourism Administration offers a minor for students from multiple disciplines to develop competencies that will allow them to be successful in the their own fields and in the hospitality industry. Events Management is an emerging trend, as it encompasses an array of planned cultural, sporting, political, musical and business activities. This unique approach will focus on concepts such as planning and developing special themes, corporate sponsorship and the use of volunteer labor to operate.
