Learning Outcomes


Upon completion of the hospitality programs, students will:

  • Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills associated with customer negotiation and active listening.
  • Communicate effectively in written form within the conventions of the discipline.
  • Demonstrate the critical inquiry and analysis skills needed to engage constructively in intellectual discourse within the discipline of hospitality management.
  • Demonstrate effective financial skills including operational hotel and restaurant ratio calculations, SWOT analyses, and management process and styles.
