The 36-credit Master’s degree in moderate disabilities provides educators who already possess an Initial License in the field with a program of study that makes them eligible for Professional Licensure in the state of Massachusetts. Preparing practicing teachers to build a deeper understanding of the subjects they teach, the Master’s also provides educators with the opportunity to better examine the trends in 21st century American education that impact their students, schools, and lives as teachers.

Eligibility for Professional Licensure
In addition to completing the Professional Licensure Program of Study, in order to be eligible for a Massachusetts Professional level teacher license, a person must hold an Initial license in the same field as the Professional license sought, hold an SEI endorsement, been employed under the Initial license for at least three (3) years, and completed an induction and mentoring program.  Please see Endicott’s Licensure Officer with any questions.
