The Criminal Justice Associate Degree focuses on issues relevant to those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement, the justice systems, corrections, and/or social services. Criminal Justice is a multi-disciplinary academic program that educates students to be critical thinkers while imparting a comprehensive understanding of the operation and impact of the criminal justice field. The Criminal Justice degree embraces the broad scope of the criminal justice discipline.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, students will:
• Demonstrate the ability to think critically about crime and criminal justice.
• Describe knowledge and skills that are necessary for careers in criminal justice.
• Communicate the importance of ethics in criminal justice.
