Human Services Minor

Program Requirements

Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits as follows:

Required Course:

• HMS 100 - Introduction to Human Services (Cr: 3)

Additional Courses:

Five Human Services courses, three of which must be at the 300 level or above.
Human Services courses are those with an HMS designation, and

• CJ 356 - Victimology (Cr: 3)
• CJ 357 - Workplace and School Violence (Cr: 3)
• CJ 425 - Domestic Violence (Cr: 3)
• PSY 335 - Theories of Counseling (Cr: 3)
• PSY 435 - Group Therapy: Theory and Practice (Cr: 3)
• SOC 215 - The Family (Cr: 3)
• SOC 230 - Death and Dying (Cr: 3)
