The Certificate Program in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Van Loan School is a unique, advanced-level teacher preparation program focused on the application of behavioral principles in addressing the needs of exceptional learners. The program fulfills the education requirements to sit for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board, (BACB) examiniation.
Individuals who hold a graduate degree in special education, psychology, or a related field and who are seeking certification from (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), may enroll in Endicott’s BACB - approved, five-course sequence in preparation for the certification examination.
Behavior Analysis Certificate courses are three credit hour courses and are scheduled for 45 contact hours each, in order to meet the BACB requirement for a total of 225 classroom contact hours. In addition to coursework, there is a 1,500-hour BACB required fieldwork experience, 75 hours of which must be supervised. Students are responsible for independently securing the supervision required by the BACB to sit for their certification examination. Support in securing such supervision is available through the Endicott College Office of Graduate Studies in Special Education.

Five-Course Sequence of Classes
BCBA requirements include a 1,500-hour fieldwork experience, 75 hours of which are supervised, in addition to the courses listed. Total requirements: 15 cr.
