Interior Design Summer Intensive Program

Through the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies, Endicott College offers two Master’s programs in Interior Design – the Master of Arts and the Master of Fine Arts – designed for professionals working in the field who seek to advance their knowledge. The College also offers a pre-professional program for candidates who wish to pursue graduate studies in interior design but who hold undergraduate degrees in areas other than interior design or architecture.

The pre-professional summer intensive program is designed for candidates seeking to enter either the Master of Arts or the Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree program who currently do not hold an undergraduate degree in interior design or architecture. The six-week, 16-credit program consist of two three-week sessions covering foundation coursework within the interior design discipline.

The curriculum provides students with foundation skills and design methodology needed to enter graduate level coursework. Students develop freehand drawing skills, technical drawing, design fundamentals, electronic media, and presentation style skill sets need to matriculate into the Master’s degree programs. Students must earn a “B” or higher in all coursework in order to be granted admittance into either the M.A. or M.F.A. program in Interior Design.
