The Spanish major is a close partnership between the Endicott College Beverly campus and the College for International Studies in Madrid, Spain enabling students to benefit from coursework and resources at both sites. Students are required to spend their entire junior year at CIS; however, options exist for additional study in Spanish-speaking countries including January intercession study tours, community service projects, and internships. Courses range from Spanish language classes to the study of the culture and civilization of both Spain and Latin America. Students may also pursue a minor in Business Administration, International Studies, or other related fields in conjunction with the Spanish major.
In order to apply for this program, students should have successfully completed a minimum of one year of high school level Spanish. They will enroll in Spanish language courses according to their levels of proficiency.
