Fifth Year Master of Nursing Program

The Fifth Year Master’s Nursing program allows BSN students to seamlessly transition into a Master’s degree program while taking advantage of a 20 percent savings on tuition and the cost of one course. Program concentrations include nursing education, nursing administration, global health nursing, and family nurse practitioner. Students accepted into the Fifth Year programs complete one graduate level course during their senior year. After completing their undergraduate coursework and successfully passing the examination for their nursing license, students continue their coursework in the fall, and may complete their master’s degree in 18-24 months of full-time coursework. The application can be completed internally by fulfilling the following conditions:

  • Maintain a 3.3 GPA by the end of the junior year
  • Complete the application process for the Master of Science in Nursing program at the end of the junior year
  • Successfully complete one master’s level course requirement in the senior year with a minimum grade of B-
  • Successfully pass the NCLEX exam and submit an RN license that is current and unrestricted in July following graduation.
