Why a hotel management degree?  All aspects of hospitality are represented in hotels.  Hotels encompass departments such as sales and marketing, human resources, accounting, food and beverage, and rooms; in addition, general managers are entrepreneurs of their properties. The hotel management degree exposes students to revenue management and the fiscal  responsibility of hotel operations. A unique feature of the program is the Hotel Operations Practicum, where students gain hands-on experience working under the supervision of managers at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center on campus. Hotel marketing, foodservice, and operations are components of this course. Students may focus on one of the following concentrations; hotel operations and consulting, property management, hotel event sales and business.  The flexibility and the versatility of the hotel management degree is the gateway to any position in the hospitality industry.

Matriculated students are advised to seek internships in different hotel departments applicable to their career paths. Les Roches is the preferred study abroad option for students who may choose to earn the Les Roches diploma in conjunction with the Endicott bachelor’s degree. These two credentials give students a unique competitive advantage in hotel management.
