IDS 150 - Ethics and Implications of AI

This course examines the emergence and current status of artificial intelligence technologies, information, and computation in contemporary contexts. Ethical issues and social, political, economic, and cultural transformations linked to AI currently underway and likely to arise in the future are studied from an interdisciplinary perspective. The approach of the course emphasizes the need for creative and cooperative responses and solutions to these concerns at personal, social, and institutional levels.
