ECN 210 - The Economics of Business

This course provides an overview of essential microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts as they apply to business decision making through management scenarios. Topics include: consumer behavior, firm strategy, market structures, trade policies, and the impact of economic factors such as recessions/booms, inflation, interest rates, and currency exchange rates.  The concepts of social costs and benefits will be explored and the importance of considering potential positive and negative outcomes of ethical business decisions.
