ED 308/308L - Early Childhood Methods and Lab

This course will develop students’ knowledge in intentionally planning developmentally appropriate, interdisciplinary learning experiences that support the needs of the whole child. Pre-service teachers will examine prominent early childhood theories and evidence-based practices intended to nurture development and positive dispositions for learning, foster an appreciation of one’s own and others’ identities and cultures, and meet state standards.  A 30-hour  classroom field experience is part of this course, and students must register for the lab section.
