DAN 220 - Ballet Techniques II

This course provides the instruction of ballet technique at the intermediate and advanced levels. Every student’s ability is assessed and training follows a curriculum designed for each student to progress to their maximum potential. The course addresses classical ballet vocabulary through barre and center work, repertoire from historically-known Ballets, and technique. Self-discipline, motivation, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence building are also a main focus of this course. Course may be repeated each semester for academic credit.

Prerequisites & Notes
DAN 120 or equivalent dance training
