Provides an overview of systematic responses used to manage potential threats to individuals, organizations, and agencies through the use of strategies and procedures engineered to minimize consequences and maximize opportunities. Using a risk management model to identify and assess risk, implement strategies, and evaluate outcomes, students will understand how properly designed risk management processes are used to protect individuals, organizations, or agencies against financial, physical, legal, and other damages, including risk associated with terrorism and natural disaster.
