BIN 670 - Introduction to Machine Learning and Distributed Computing Machine learning is a crucial tool in creating predictive and descriptive models of data. This course covers a range of machine learning algorithms such as: clustering, regression, decision trees, support vector machines, and neural networks. We also consider distributed computing for data sets that are too large to process on a single machine. As examples, we will consider biological data sets.
