PHY 100 - Introduction to Astronomy

This class is a comprehensive survey of astronomy, cosmology and planetary motion. This course covers early astronomy, star and planet formation and mechanics, the distribution, properties and structure of stars/galaxies and their life cycles, as well as basic astronomical measurements and equipment. Satisfies the Science and Technology General Education requirement.
