ENG 224 - Love and Protest in American Literature

This course examines the literary treatment of love and protest in American literature. Through close interpretation and the study of theories of gender, race, and class students investigate how these theories have impacted American literature historically and in the present era. Satisfies the Literary Perspectives General Education requirement.
