BIO 224 - Microbiology for Healthcare Professionals This course introduces the core concepts and basic principles of microbiology, with an emphasis on their application to human health. Topics include microbial structure and classification, identification, host-microbe interactions, epidemiology, and infection prevention and control. Case studies that involve clinically important microbes are explored. This course cannot be taken by students who have taken BIO 292/292L.
Prerequisites & Notes BIO 201/201L and BIO 202/202L.
