 |  ED 301 - Math Methods and Field ExperienceExamines the purpose and content of the K-6 mathematics curriculum, highlighting a wide variety of teaching procedures and instructional materials. Evaluation techniques for use in the classroom and pedagogical methodology are addressed. Current research, issues, and frameworks are examined. A semester-long field component is included in this course. (3 cr. Lecture, 1 cr. Field experience). Must be registered for methods course and ED303.
 
 Prerequisites & Notes
 Junior class status and a passing score on at least two MTEL exams. Open to liberal studies/education teacher licensure majors only.
