PHT 116 - Introduction to Photographic Imaging This course introduces the fundamentals of photographic imaging, including; camera controls, exposure, optics, which are the basis of image capture. Through imaging assignments, critiques, readings and writing assignments, the students are introduced to the principals of photographic language, including image construction and composition as well as the use of images with regard to subject matter and context. Satisfies Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education requirement.
