AMS 151 - American Sign Language II This course builds on the language skills developed in AMS 150 with additional attention given to issues of deaf culture and cultural diversity in the United States. Emphasis will be placed on expressive (signing) where participants can demonstrate their competence in ASL. The course is designed to build classroom communities that respect American Sign Language, the native language of the majority of deaf people in North America.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: AMS 150 or prior coursework in American Sign Language.
