BEN 310 - Biomaterials

This course is an introduction to biomaterial design across a wide range of applications. Biocompatibility and immunogenicity of different classes of materials will be examined. The course will discuss regulatory concerns in medical device design and the current biomaterials with FDA approval. The foundational concepts of materials science will be applied to materials used in medical applications.

BIO 102 and CHE 105.
