BIO 226 - Marine Biology and Biotechnology

Students will study basic science applied to the marine environment, including an emphasis on organismal classification, structure, function and ecology. Students will learn an ecosystem approach that integrates organismal diversity with challenges imposed by the environment, and will learn how humans impact, preserve and utilize marine life. (Formerly BIO 177)
