IED 571 - Leadership for Technology in Schools

This course will review theory and research on leader- ship, the study of organizational culture, and the principles necessary to support change. In addition, this course will lay the foundation for the under- standing of effective leadership in allocating human resources, using and developing technology in schools and technology plans and audits. Students will exam- ine and develop strategic planning for technology, develop financial plans, and plans for teacher professional development using technology in their classes and schools. Case studies will be used in this course
