Endicott Online, the web-based learning initiative based within the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies, supports our Associate and Bachelor Degree Completion Programs in Business Administration and Liberal Studies, the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Education, and corporate training activities.
Additionally, a variety of online courses in Business and Liberal Studies, selected from the Endicott College undergraduate curriculum, are offered during Winter Intersession and the Summer Session. These intersession courses are also available to the general public. Special courses may be also be offered to support Endicott’s traditional undergraduate population.
Undergraduate courses are delivered exclusively online. Graduate courses are typically delivered in a hybrid model, incorporating online delivery with an on-campus component to each course. All online course sessions are asynchronous, allowing students to participate at a time that fits their daily schedules.
In all Endicott Online classes, students access a secure web-based classroom, via the Gullnet learning management system, where they access weekly lectures and additional course materials, post assignments, participate in group activities, and actively contribute to instructor-led class discussions. The courses integrate text, lecture, web-based resources, and active and participatory discussion to ensure our online students fully share in the established course objectives while maintaining close relationships with the other students, the instructor, and the College.
Endicott Online faculty are experienced in teaching adult students and in teaching online. All of our online instructors also have Endicott classroom experience, so they are familiar with our curriculum and instructional methods. Students are strongly encouraged to engage the instructor and their fellow students in thoughtful and spirited discussion, to further advance learning in the online environment. |
