Criminal Justice Electives
Criminal Justice electives include any course with a CJ designation, and Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the criminal justice program, students will: - Demonstrate familiarity with the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in criminal justice.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply basic research methods in criminal justice, including research design, data analysis and interpretation.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply basic criminal justice concepts and principles in real world settings.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively within the conventions of the discipline.
- Illustrate critical inquiry and analysis skills needed to engage constructively in academic discourse within the discipline.
