The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program at Endicott College is designed for IT professionals seeking to advance their careers and become leaders in the field. This 36-credit program emphasizes current and emerging technology trends and systems, as well as the development of communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with business managers, technology managers, software developers, and consultants. Structured to accommodate working professionals, the program offers flexibility and personalized advising, with eight start dates per academic year.

The MSIT program is ideal for IT professionals who have been working for at least two years and are looking to deepen their knowledge and enhance their leadership skills in the information technology sector. The program offers accelerated classes, each six weeks long, allowing students to complete their degree in two years. The curriculum includes an international study class option, providing global perspectives and learning experiences. Students can choose between fully in-person classes at the Beverly, MA campus or 100% online coursework.

Students can specialize in one of two concentration tracks: the Technical Concentration, which focuses on software engineering and programming, or the Health and Medical Informatics Concentration, which specializes in the growing field of health and medical informatics. These concentration tracks allow students to tailor their education to their specific career goals and interests.

The program’s STEM designation offers additional benefits for international students, including eligibility for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for 1 to 2 semesters during the program, and up to 1 year of Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon completion. These practical training opportunities are crucial for gaining hands-on experience and enhancing career prospects in the United States.
