The School of Hospitality Management is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA).  By being accredited with ACPHA, the school meets or exceeds standards of educational excellence.

The World Travel and Tourism Council projected that hospitality and tourism will continue to grow annually at 4.2% until 2022.  Demand for qualified service professionals will continue to increase providing many career opportunities for our graduates.

The School of Hospitality Management prepares students for leadership roles in one of the largest and most diverse industries with career opportunities in hotels, resorts, food service, clubs, cruise lines, casinos, senior communities, weddings and conferences, non-profits, and events.  Endicott College provides the innovative educational experience needed for success through two degrees; Hotel Management and Hospitality Management.  In addition, two areas of specialization may be pursued:Events Management and International Hospitality Management. To enhance hospitality business courses, graduates will have the depth and breadth of knowledge that comes from studying in a comprehensive liberal arts environment. All faculty members of the school have industry experience and become active advisors  to mentor, guide and support each student during their college experience.  The non-traditional classroom, La Chanterelle Restaurant, provides a hands-on learning experience.  The School also has an educational collaboration with The Wylie Inn and Conference Center, on campus, providing operational examples for multiple hospitality classes.  Upon graduation, students have the knowledge and insights to become leaders in the hospitality industry.

Last year, 66% of graduating hospitality seniors completed an international experience. This reflects our recognition of hospitality management as a global industry. The School of Hospitality Management has dedicated international hospitality partners including Les Roches Hotel Management School in Switzerland, American College of Greece in Greece, Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in the United Arab Emirates, Apicius International School of Hospitality in Italy, and the International College of Management in Australia. At Les Roches Endicott students can earn a Swiss Hotel Management Diploma.  This program allows students to obtain an internationally recognized Swiss Hotel Management diploma and an Endicott bachelors’ degree combining the best of American management techniques and the Swiss reputation for hospitality education.  These two credentials give students a competitive advantage in the work force.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of other international programs offered by the College.

What students learn in the classroom is only part of what they will experience at Endicott.  Students are able to apply and expand on their coursework through many clubs and social networking opportunities available on campus.   Two student organizations unique to the School of Hospitality Management that provide opportunities to interact with industry professionals are Endicott Events Management Organization (EEMO), and  a student chapter of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA).  Eta Sigma Delta, (ESD) is an international hospitality honor society governed by the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Educators (ICHRIE).  This honor society recognizes junior and senior hospitality students for outstanding academic achievement, service, and professionalism.

The School of Hospitality Management is committed to each student’s personal success through academic choice.  The School offers a Hotel Management degree to prepare students for leadership positions in the lodging industry. Through the Hospitality Management degree, students have the flexibility of creating their own area of specialization. Students may choose from the general Hospitality Management option or develop areas of expertise in: Events Management, Senior Community Management or International Hospitality Management.

The Endicott mission of internships and applied learning is emphasized within the School of Hospitality Management.
